The Kylies' first league win had come against these opponents back in October in a seven-goal thriller but there had been eight in this one by half-time! The team had been born out of evening five- and six-a-side games in the evening so the later kick-off didn't prove a problem.

Ian Merry bagged his first hat-trick which earned him MVP but he also picked up spoons as well. Did he miss a sitter or a pen can anyone remember? Smedley and Swatridge notched two each to complete the scoring.
