Akers defeat ends title hopes
9 April 1995, Division 8 at Ballards Ash
Akers Garage 4 KMLC FC 2 (HT 3-1)
A second defeat to league leaders Akers ended any outside chance of the Kylies claiming the title in their first season.
Trailing 3-1 at the break a better second half saw the result kept respectable with Stu's goalscoring form carried over from last week.
Despite the good form of Big Al in the last couple of games there was a return to the starting line-up for Peej for some reason. Al did come on for him later in the game and won spoons. Did he turn up late I wonder? MVP was spread throughout the defenders which suggests the Kylies might have been under the cosh somewhat.
