Hart win is foundation for end of season run
11 April 1996, Division Seven at RAF Lyneham
White Hart Lyneham 2 KMLC FC 3
A third game in five days and an evening trip out to RAF Lyneham proved no barrier to a Kylie win in this erratic season. After two successive defeats, for the fourth time in the league season, the team bounced back to start what would be their longest unbeaten run of the campaign.
Merry, another Gould penalty and a goal from the bench from Watling (did he turn up a bit late I wonder. It was a rare start for Kibble and would be his last) were too much for the hosts who were perhaps the lesser of the Lyneham teams. But hey, you've got to be hard in this game and we won.
Lunt
Carpenter, Woolford, Summers, Gunning
Smedley, Merry, Gould, Williams
Swatridge, Kibble
Subs: Watling for Kibble, Howell for Woolford
Goals: Watling, Gould pen, Merry
