Despite their patchy league form the Kylies had always managed to find the net this season except for their very first game, a Knockout Cup tie v Deer's Leap.
That run came to an end in this game against a team they'd comfortably put away in early December. There was an attacking look to the team too with the return of Hales to the middle of the park and Merry back in the starting line-up,
After two weeks of the MVP award going to his head it was the same Merry who won Spoons this time. Gunning took MVP which might suggest the defence had a lot of work to do.
