Police cordon off all three points in last game of the season

20 April 2000, Division 5

KMLC FC 2 Swindon Police 3

Our only evening game of the season was a month after our last match. Can we put this loss down to a bit of ring-rust?

Humphries was back in goal, Gunning returned for his first game since November while Watling and Harries were included in the squad after missing the last couple of months. They had mixed fortunes.

Humphries won MVP, Watling failed to score (a rarity for him this season) and Gunning was subbed for Harries who won Spoons.

Our goals came late - from Powell, on as a sub for Watty, and Ausden.

Humphries
B.Warr, Hobbs, Cook, Gunning
Gould, Merry, Rees, Hales
Watling, Ausden
Subs: Harries for Gunning, Winters for Warr, Powell for Watling

Goals: Powell (75), Ausden (84)

MVP: Humphries
Spoons: Harries

Next match - next season!
